BaCK in ThE DaY...

Camille was over and on TV was the movie "Clueless" we were both reminiscing about this movie and others that we loved so here are a few that we thought of to go along with this list that I found while surfing blogs!

This movie and poster should be put in history books and the Smithsonian. This movie helped to coin the infamous phrase...Whatever

Awww I love this movie for introducing me Freddy Prinze Jr and of course Paul Walker!

Seth Green was hilarious in this movie actin all gangsta....lol

This one is a classic. I used to rent this all the time because I loved it so much and it helped to teach me my killer dance moves... The Freddy...need I say more

You know you grew up in the '90s if:
You can finish this song [ice, ice, _ _ _ _ ]
You remember watching:
-Doug
-Ren & Stimpy
-Rockos modern Life.
You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!"
You just can't resist finishing this . . . "Iiiiiiin west Philidelphia born and raised . . ."
You remember:
-TGIF
-Step by Step
-Family Matters
-Dinosaurs (LOL Jennica was the baby dinosaur one year for Halloween...Not the mama)
-Boy Meets World.
You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.
You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school.
You remember reading "Goosebumps"
You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.
You still get the urge to say "NOT!" after (almost) every sentence.
You remember when everything was settled by:
-rock paper scissors or
-bubble gum bubble gum in a dish (I just used this today to solve a dispute between my brothers...lol)
When cops and robbers was a daily activity. (I got stuck in handcuffs for over a hour one time we played this)
You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time. (I was ghetto and would record my favorite songs on a cassette)
"Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?" was both a game and a TV game show.
Heman women haters club.
You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green ranger, were meant to be together.
You knew Zach Morris and A.C. Slater could get any girl.
You had a Sega Genesis and you best friend had a Super Nintendo.
You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny.
You remember when Yo-Yos were cool. (I sucked at this and could never get it to go back up)
You took those Where's Waldo? books to church.
You remember Read-A-Thons at school.
You ate Warheads.
You ate Ring Pops.
You remember drinking Tang.
Everything was "da BOMB!"
When they made the new lunchables so that you could make pizza AND tacos.
You had a boom box or discman.
Making those little paper fortune cookie things, and then predicting your life with them.
You know the hand signs for "2 Legit 2 Quit" by MC Hammer
M.A.S.H.
You played and/or collected "Pogs"
Furbies...
You watched the original Ninja Turtles cartoons.
Michael Jordan played basketball.
YIKES pencils and erasers were the stuff!
All your school supplies were "Lisa Frank"(Girls).
You remember when Beanie Babies and Talking Elmo were sold out.
Carebears...
Gak was the coolest stuff ever invented.
Lambchop's song never ended.
You remember wanting to sit on the orange Nickelodeon couch.
You know the Macarena by heart.
"Talk to the hand" . . . enough said.
Light up sneakers were cool.
You rented VHS tapes.
Gas was $0.95 a gallon.
What's Caller ID?
You recorded stuff on VCRs.
You called the radio station to request your favorite song.
You owned and wore slap bracelets!
Way back.
Before we realized all this would eventually disappear who would have thought you'd miss the '90s that much.

If you can think of any other movies or things from the 90's or late 80's that you loved and remember please share!

I love it! That took me back... My fave 80's/90's movies are Empire Records, Pretty in Pink, and the Breakfast Club. I still say psyche sometimes, I'm so lame. Troy wanted me to rub in your face the fact that the Mavs beat the suns!! Go Dirk!

I can't believe I'm going to admit to this, but I KNOW I'm not the only one who did this...

Not only did I listen to the radio for hours just to hear the song I loved so I could record it on cassette tape, BUT after I recorded it, I'd play, rewind, and play again just so I could write down the lyrics of the songs so I could memorize them faster!
